Ongwediva Town Council recognises the positive contribution of small and medium enterprises to the local economy and hence is committed to the promotion and development of the sector to stimulate and enhance economic growth at the local level.
The establishment of the Ongwediva Open Market right in the centre of Ongwediva is a project that was initiated by the Council to support local entrepreneurs and the project has been successful to date and the community has taken ownership of the process.
