Ongwediva Town Council as part of its local economic development, in collaboration with Unam – Ogongo Campus, intends to select ten (10) beneficiaries from Ongwediva town who will be trained and mentored in peri-urban agricultural practices to promote food security and reduce poverty through sustainable agricultural development.
Who can apply:
Unemployed women, people living with disability and pensioners (60 – 75yrs);
You must have space in your backyard for a small garden;
You can commit to a training program for a period of four weeks.
Proof of Ongwediva residency (of Ongwediva town)
Certified copy of identity document;
Completed application forms;
Registration fee of N$50.00.
The program will only accommodate (10) ten beneficiaries.

APPLICATION FORM: An application form can be obtained from the office of the Local Economic Development and Tourism Division at Ongwediva Trade Fair Centre and must be deposited into the bid box at Ongwediva Town Council offices before the closing date.
